Air transportation is the only option to transfer from the mainland of Fiji, therefore, the resort operates a daily charter to and from the mainland to Vatuele Island. Check-in is 11am at the domestic terminal. No tickets are required and seats are allocated by the Vatulele reservation office at the time the reservation is made. The

flight takes 25 minutes. **** BAGGAGE RESTRICTIONS of 33lbs (15kg) apply. To avoid inconvenience, we suggest you pack a separate case for the island and store your excess luggage in our Nadi airport office.

Vatulele is an oasis of barefooted elegance. Tucked away in a natural jungle, on a three-quarter mile long white sand beach, on an island completely surrounded by a magnificent coral reef, guests find an abundance of water-based activity: swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving (PADI dive facility), sailing, paddling.. Also included are tennis, volleyball, jungle hikes and visits to the four nearby native villages. The spacious identical villas, which are a stylish combination of Fijian and Mediterranean architecture with thatched roofs are comprised of sitting room, bedroom with king-sized bed, large bathroom and spacious shaded terrace.

Auckland - the City of Sails, is located between two stunning harbours, and enjoys a mild year-round climate. Auckland is the Country's most visited region and largest urban area, offering exciting activities and great shopping. The private tour begins upon your arrival at the International airport, so look out for your driver once you clear customs and collect your luggage. During your tour of Auckland you will see what makes up Auckland with its vibrant city skyline and the sprawling suburbs and lookout points so you can observe the majestic views of the Waitemata Harbour. Please note: no entrance fees for museums etc have been included in your tour, allowing you flexibility to go as you please.

DAY ONE: Escape the city to the spectacular Coromandel Peninsula in the air-conditioned luxury of Kiwi Dundee Adventures mini coach with your friendly kiwi guide. Tour through picturesque farmland stopping for photos and short walks during the day. Travel along the beautiful seabird coast, home to thousands of migratory and shore birds. Enjoy a visit to the fascinating old gold mine town of Thames with its buildings and churches dating from the 1800's. After a delightful lunch, we travel. over steep volcanic mountains clad in dense rainforest to visit a giant Kauri standing majestically amongst the worlds largest ferns and semi tropical rainforest then on for a walk beside the Pacific Ocean on the eastern coast of the Peninsula with its many offshore islands. A short journey to a quiet coastal town takes you to your accommodation for the next two nights.

DAY 2 : COROMANDEL PENINSULA COASTAL TOUR

Today is a delightful sample of this regions natural heritage and scenic beauty

Enjoy an easy walk through nature on the forgotten paths of an old town to visit an old historic gold cave now home to sparkling glow worms. Enjoy the fascinating history of this area and learn about the flora and fauna within this magnificent forest of the region. Be prepared for fun and entertainment at this time of the day!

Visit stunning coastal scenery with its white sand beaches, magnificent cliffs, old Maori Pa sites and offshore islands. A visit to famous Hot Water beach [Tide permitting]

See your guides "treasures" from nature, including gold, crystals, petrified wood, Kauri gum and other minerals found on the Peninsula.

DAY 3 COROMANDEL - BAY OF PLENTY ROTORUA

This day is an ever-changing panorama of forests, mountains, beaches and islands until we leave the Coromandel behind and enter the Bay of Plenty, home to plantations of kiwi fruit, citrus, avocados, flowers and deer farms to name a few. Stop at New Zealands "Mural town", Katikati, with its open-air art on the history of the area. Continue south to visit a private working orchard, growing Kiwi fruit, Avocados and export flowers.

After a delightful lunch we tour on to Rotorua, the thermal city built in the crater of a huge volcano.

A short walk through native forest where you might catch a raft cascading over the largest waterfall drop for commercial white water rafting in the world.

Your guide will give you an overview of this fascinating region before arriving at your accommodation.

Today we travel from Treetops into Rotorua for sightseeing and drop off at the Airport. Rotorua is the very center of the Polynesian Maori Culture, a gentle and charming people who will expertly guide us through the Whakarewarewa Thermal Springs. There are pools of bubbling mud, spouting geysers, silica terraces and natural steam pouring out of vents at your feet. Simply astonishing! At the Maori Village and Crafts Institute you will see native boys being taught the carving skills of their ancestors. At the Rainbow Springs Trout pools you have the opportunity to see the worlds finest collection of rainbow trout in various stages of development. The Agrodome Farm, shows nineteen different breeds of New Zealand Sheep. We will see sheep-shearing and sheepdogs handling a mob of lambs. Please make sure your luggage is packed and ready to go for this tour/transfer.

Please look for your driver at the airport once you have collected your luggage. You will then be escorted to your Queenstown hotel.

The Lodge at Blanket Bay sits in sprawling grounds on the bush-clad fringes of Lake Wakatipu. Built in the grand style of the finest alpine lodges and finished with native New Zealand timber and stone, the Lodge is a sanctuary of comfort.

The long driveway meanders across a green pasture where you will find sheep grazing. To your right are maginificent views of Mount Earnslaw. Winding down the road stunning views of Lake Wakatipu open up on your left. Straight ahead is the grandeur of the Humboldt mountain range, over which cross the world famous Greenstone and Routeburn tracks.

Fly across Lake Wakatipu into the heart of the Fiordland National Park to the breathtaking Lake Quill and the 2500 ft Sutherland Falls. View the famous Milford Track - one of New Zealands popular wilderness areas en route to Milford Sound. Following all this you experience a glacier landing, one of the most awe inspiring experiences with ice formations and crevasses to astound. Time for lunch at our remote musterers cabin before your return. Fly across Mt Aspiring National Park over the famous Moonlight and Shotover Canyons before landing back into Queenstown.Time away: Approximately 3 hours

Pick up from the hotel at 08:00, travel along the shores of Lake Wakatipu on what has to be one of New Zealand's most scenic roads. At arrival in Glenorchy you will join the Dart River Safari, a total wilderness experience which includes; a fascinating 4wd coach trip, a walk through ancient forests where you'll see film locations made famous by The Lord of the Rings and finally a jet boat journey on the stunning Dart River. Lunch in Glen Royden Lodge or Gibbston Valley Winery depending on timing and weather. After lunch a must see attraction in Queenstown is the Kawarau Bungy Bridge, the birth place of bungy and an opportunity to experience the thrill of the bungy in the Bungy Dome multi-media show. The tour then takes you to Arrowtown, a historic gold mining settlement then on over the Shotover River back into Queenstown. Returning to Queenstown around 16:30 to 17:00
